Community Events at The Broad Center

At Broadway Community and Activity Center, our events are more than just gatherings—they’re a way to build unity, spark joy, and give back. We proudly host a variety of free and low-cost events year-round that welcome all NYC residents, bringing together individuals and families from all walks of life.

From our annual Back-to-School Giveaway that provides students with FREE essential supplies, to our popular “Painting with a Twist” fundraising nights, each event is designed to foster connection, promote wellness, and support our mission of serving marginalized communities across New York City.

We host:

  • Free community events (holiday drives, resource fairs, wellness workshops, back-to-school events)
  • Creative fundraising events (paint nights, social hours, themed community dinners)
  • Collaborative events with local organizations, schools, and businesses

These events provide fun, support, and purpose—helping neighbors bond while also directly supporting programs that feed, empower, and protect our city’s most vulnerable.

We’re always looking to collaborate.

If you’re a local business, school, or small community organization interested in partnering with us to host an event, we’d love to connect. Together, we can create meaningful experiences and lasting impact for the communities we serve. Interested in Partnering, contact us!
